Leggendo questo capitolo, mi è venuto in mente una storia in questo stesso fandom che trattava lo stesso argomento ,ovvero: il rapporto di Renè nei confronti degli zii.Solo che quì, c'è una zia buona, dolce che ha aspettato con ansia il ritorno della nipote adorata (in altre, era una zia maligna) .Insomma l'antitesi dell'affetto familia.
La zia mi apre sofferente e magari malata per non riuscire neppure ad alzarsi dal letto e poi, con auesta casa malconcia e privata di oggetti di valore e affettivi.

La povera Renée ha trovato un quadro deprimente al suo ritorno, a causa della vendetta del suo ex promesso sposo; ma conoscendola come una ragazza forte, aiuterà sua zia a rimettere in piedi la tenuta, e forse potrebbe pure andare a cercare lo zio ed il cugino in America.
