I like the band's reaction to Mika's """coming out"" which-wasn't-one to them. No weird reaction, no one acting differently afterwards, and Mika casually dropping Zack's name, too. It's refreshing to see a fic where this isn't a big deal, where Mika isn't struggling with this part of him, a scenario which will inevitably involve drama and angst (although I do enjoy fanfics of the like as well! c:).

I love how Andy's completely at ease while Mika is almost falling over when he tries to get up from the sofa, I can picture this so easily hahaha

Ooh, and (sorry I'm literally writing this as I'm reading) Mika trying to get up and Andy looking at him with puppy's eyes, AND Mika wanting to touch his cheek + the mention of Andy's beard stubble, I am melting. Aw.

And. Just. Their whole conversation, Andy who has drank too much to actually understand what's going on (or just because he's naturally oblivious haha) this is all so cute and fun, and then THE plot twist that we were all waiting for, and everything that ensues.

This was a really beautiful take on the beginning of their relationship. Very sweet and probably something I will read again when I need something to make me feel better after a bad day.

I especially love the last part as well, the song, the atmosphere of this quiet starry night in the city, and Mika walking alone and pondering, feeling like he's flying, walking on the moon. I wish I could paint so I'd paint the scene for sure, because it feels so real and relatable in my mind.

Temevo che leggendo la storia avrei subito una grande delusione: chi oltre a me può amare i Police nel fandom di Mika? E invece…
Confesso che non mi sono mai molto interessata dell’interpretazione dei testi dei Police, anche perché ce n’è alcuni che davvero si possono spiegare solo con l’assunzione di sostanze illecite, comunque secondo me “Walking on the Moon” con l’innamoramento ci sta proprio bene.
La storia è scritta bene, come sempre, quindi leggerla è stato un doppio piacere.
Sulle eventuali altre canzoni da utilizzare mi sfugge se tu stia cercando qualcosa di già noto o se questo requisito non è indispensabile, comunque ti mando qualcosa in DM

DIMENTICAVO: Mika che si mette porta la mano di Andy al petto per fargli sentire il battito del suo cuore è particolarmente dolce

Gia sapevo avrei trovato storia scritta bene, con una trama degna di nota è un punto rivista simile al mio.
