GaaraSaku – Laugh, My Demon – Versione Italiana [350 parole]

All’inizio, lei desiderava solo che I suoi occhi fossero neri.
E lei tremava.
E lei sta ancora dormendo.

GaaraSaku – Laugh, My Demon – English Version [320 words]

At first, she only wished his eyes were black.
And she didn’t really know what she was doing.
At first, she didn’t really care, either.
But then, there were the small things. Like how his closed eyes were black, and his red hair on the pillow seemed like blood, just as someone had just slowly killed them both, and he never sleeps.
And she shivered.
She thought it was right, so sorrowful and lonely as she thought she was after Sasuke’s departure, to draw in someone else’s sorrow to sink hers.
So blind, so blind.
But she didn’t know nothing. Really.
She didn’t know when night came, the screams, the shouts, the laughter. And she didn’t know that was the only laughter he ever heard.
They weren’t even human. But then again, Sakura couldn’t know.
And neither how Gaara tried not to listen that laughter, that mocking whispers in his head (kill her, boy, kill her and the demon laughs, and laughs, at his shivers)
And so every time he bites into her neck, and tastes the blood, her life, that sweet and disgusting taste he has learned to like, because it suppress the laughter for a while, and that is all that matters.
All that matters.
And it hurts but she stands, and smiles, because the pain’s fleeting and she wants only to prove somehow that she in strong, and she can stand it, and that’s all that matters.
All that matters.
So when a night the laughter raises, and rises, and the screams become unbearable, he just raises his hand.
And she is still sleeping.
She’ll never wake again, he thinks, briefly. Strangely enough, it seems to hurt.
But then his hands, his arms, his body are soaked in blood and the laughter doesn’t stop, and keeps on, and on, and on.
It’s pain, but it’ll fade.
The Shukaku tastes the blood, and keeps on laughing.
And Gaara knows he has lost again.
