Love makes me sick


Light and dark meet each other in the sky at twilight

as shame and pain have met my heart tonight

Your memory keeps me awake

 

Time heals nothing, so my bruise just won't fade away

In my heart sorrow will stay

Bound to the past, in chains

 

I have totally forgotten how it feels to be free

and what love for yourself and people means

 

I don't even remember that I was even ever loved

You were the only one who has ever showed me love

 

but that love makes me sick, makes me feel guilty

makes me drown in the shame.

 

If that is love, I don't wanna love anymore.
