Questa poesia è uscita di getto in inglese. Mesi dopo ha trovato vita anche in italiano. Ho riportato entrambe le versioni. Anche se intimamente legate non sono una la traduzione dell'altra.

Piango tutte le mie lacrime
senza fretta, senza danni,
non dovrò più farlo
per i prossimi cent'anni.
Grido i miei terrori, gli errori,
la colpa che opprime
e quello che non ho detto.
Spingo tutto fuori dal petto.
Trasformo poi in rime
il cemento nella mente.
Voglio scalciare, urlare,
impazzire e strisciare.
Voglio una stretta armatura
senza buchi, senza faglie
che fan passare la paura
fra le maglie.

I want to cry all my tears
for the sake of it,
so I won't have to
for the next few years.
I want to scream all my fears,
reject them,
push them out of my chest
sort them out from the mess
in my head.
I want to turn to sand
the concrete blocks
that weigh my mind.
I want to kick and shout,
I want to crawl and roll,
I want a tight armor
with no weak spots
with no hidden holes.
