but never work the way they should.
We get mad when we cannot identify the expectable
but one way or another
we all look for things we recognize.
Does anybody marry the one they really wanted?
And what beautiful child is unaware
of the power he beholds?
Last night I killed my beloved one
what worse is yet to come?
 What is there yet to be afraid of?
I tell you, it’s a sick compromise
that we carry on
well beyond
the thrill of life,
that rush of ecstasy that’s come and gone.
But not all those who are wanderers are lost
and so I’ll lose myself to meet you again.
